24-hour Design-a-thon!

CALLING ALL DESIGNERS!

AIGA Los Angeles is giving 25 designers 24 hours to develop creative solutions for local non-profits.
It's AIGA LA's Third Annual Design for Good: 24-hour Design Blitz! Do you have what it takes?

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10–SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2015
9AM to 9AM

OPODZ | COLLABORATIVE COWORKING SPACE
Downtown Los Angeles
362 E. 2nd St.
Los Angeles, CA 90012

AIGA Los Angeles and the Taproot Foundation are calling on local creative professionals to lend their skills and help promote design thinking while doing good at the same time.

Over the course of 24 hours, teams of professional creatives will collaborate to develop solutions for a number of local non-profits.

Design for Good LA 2015 (DfGLA) is open to all working professional creatives—graphic designers, illustrators, interactive experts, copywriters, photographers, etc. If you’re interested, sign up to participate by filling out this online application.

Hurry! There are limited spots available! Participants will be chosen based on application order and the requirements of the project briefs. Selected participants will be contacted on October 1.

DfGLA provides an opportunity for creatives to build their skills and network while promoting the power of design thinking in a highly visible way. Teams will be a mix of varying experience levels to encourage varying perspectives and opportunities for mentorship. Each team will have a senior design leader to guide the team.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Breakfasts, lunch, snacks, and (plenty of) coffee will be provided.
This event is B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Pillow)

Final designs will be revealed and presented to the non-profit organizations at a party later in the month. Keep an eye on AIGALA for more information about the Blitz and the reveal party.
